I looked up Facebook reviews after the incident and found out that he has a low rating. I also called a few people to ask if they knew anything about Offutt and I guess it is well-known that you should avoid them. I am writing this to inform everyone else who hasn't found that out yet.
I can get along with almost everyone, but can't say the same about the owner of Offutt Motor Sales. I was due for a new car and saw an option in Offutt's parking lot. I called to see if I could schedule a test drive and the owner said there was no need to schedule that I could come in at anytime. I went in and something completely changed. I was told that there was no way I would be allowed to test drive the vehicle unless I would be purchasing that day. I have two questions, 1) Who tells a car dealership that they are for sure buying the car before they know more about it? 2) Aren't test drives an option to see if you like the drive and feel of a car before you start the buying process?
Very poor service and will not even work with you.Seen a vehicle that I wanted to test drive had to wait in negative weather while they located keys and the the battery need jumped all while still in the cold weather. Ask to take only a few hundred less and I mean a few wasn't asking thousand dollars and was told flat out no so guess I will taking my business else where
I would not recommend Offutt Motor Sales to anyone. It is no wonder the business hasn't been able to expand after 52 years.
