This place is a joke. They will prescribe you medication even if it doesn't benefit your mental health. The therapists will listen to you for an hour without any emotion or empathy. I remember one therapist specifically. His name was Steve. He sat and listened to me for an hour with the same response, "how does that make you feel?" I felt like he didn't listen to me. At one point he actually cut me off in the middle of my sentence because our time was up. My Psychiatrist was Dr. Forthner. She was not very pleasant to speak with. I felt very uncomfortable in her office. She showed little to no emotion when listening to my concerns. After listening to me for an hour she put me on Abilify, Buspirone, and Effexor then sent me on my way. I remember waiting for over 30 mins. for my scheduled appointment times and nobody seemed to have a sense of urgency. DO NOT GO TO FOUR COUNTY. They will make you feel dumb, belittle you, and treat you like you're in a psych ward. I recommend taking yourself or your children to Howard Community Health. Thanks for reading!
